Creative Waikato is a not-for-profit Regional Arts Organisation. We are focused on capability building in the arts, culture and creative ecosystem of Waikato. We are about Creativity, Wellbeing and People. We are working towards a vision for a Waikato region that thrives with diverse and transformative creative activity.
What this platform is for
Being Waikato proud, our geographically vast region is at the forefront of the mahi we do. To ensure the resources we develop are as accessible as possible, this platform allows access to our capability building resources to help support our creative community in the things they do.
Here are a few of the things you’ll be able to do as a member of this community:
- Access workshops presented in an e-learning video format so this can be done at a time that works best for you and your group and to ensure that this information is as accessible as possible.
- Connect with like-minded individuals.

When You Join Today
When you join today, you’ll get access to our:
- E-learning workshops: You can work through each workshop in a single sitting or you could space it out and work through a chapter or two each time you meet to allow space for thinking and activity around the core information in the videos. It’s up to you!
- Wider Community of creatives: This platform allows connection across the region ensuring our creatives are connected and thriving. You can find like-minded creatives working in the Waikato region who may be at the start of their creative journey or seasoned pros.
- The Creative Waikato team: The Creative Waikato team is here to provide support, answer questions, or share additional insights if needed.
